Anfrage an alle aktiven Gruppen und Personen anlässlich Mahnwachen für Leonard Peltier am 7.2.2022

hallo,
wir haben über unseren Freund  Mitch Walking Elk eine Anfrage/Anregung von David Hill (AIM, ex borard of directors des ILPDC) zugeschickt bekommen und geben die mal an euch weiter (siehe unten)  mit der Bitte zu Überlegen, ob ihr da etwas machen könnt, wollt, werdet. Antwort dann bitte schnell an uns per Email zurück, damit wir diese dann an David senden können. Es geht um Mahnwachen vor US-Konsulaten/Botschaften am 7.2.2022 anlässlich 46 Jahre Haft Leonard Peltier. Der Jahrestag ist ja am 6.2., da dies ein Sonntag ist und in den US-Einrichtungen kaum Präsenz sein wird, ist die Idee am 7.2. etwas zu veranstalten. Bitte um schnellstmögliche Abstimmung unter euch und Antwort.

Translation: We have received a request/suggestion from David Hill (AIM, ex borard of directors of the ILPDC) via our friend Mitch Walking Elk and we are passing it on to you (see below) with the request to consider whether you can, want to, will do something about it. Please reply to us as soon as possible so that we can send it to David. It is about vigils in front of US consulates/embassies on 7.2.2022 on the occasion of 46 years of Leonard Peltier’s imprisonment. The anniversary is on 6.2. Since this is a Sunday and there will be hardly any presence in the US institutions, the idea is to organise something on 7.2. Please vote among yourselves and reply as soon as possible.

Hello Michael, I’ve been asked by David Hill, formerly of the Leonard Peltier Defense committee office to contact people in Europe and ask that they organize gatherings at the U.S. Embassy/consulate on February 7th, calling for the compassionate release of Leonard Peltier. David is trying to make this a world wide event. February 6th is the day Leonard was arrested but that is a Sunday and no one will be in the offices on that day, thus the reason for selecting day February 7.
