Einen Tag nach den ICCPR-Consultings in der US-Mission in Genf und den dort auc h erfolgten Statementsa zu Leonard Peltier von Dr. Michael Koch (Tokata-LPSG RheinMain e.V. in Vertretung Leonard Peltiers und dessen Anwältin sowie des derzeitigen Ad Hoc Committees) und Water Protectors Legal Corrective Executive Director, Natali Segovia, gab Natali Segovia nochmals bei der Vorstellung des US-Berichts im UN-Hauptquartier eine Stellungnahme ab, die neben vielen Bürger- und Menschenrechtsverletzungen die Indigenen der USA betreffend u.a. auch Leonard Peltier kurz erwähnte. Aufgrund beruflicher Termine konnte M. Koch an den kommenden beiden Tagen nicht mehr den Sitzungen beiwohnen. An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank an Natali Segovia für die spontane und gelungene Kooperation am 16.10. in Genf.
One day after the ICCPR consultations at the US mission in Geneva and the statements on Leonard Peltier made there by Dr. Michael Koch (Tokata-LPSG RheinMain e.V. representing Leonard Peltier and his lawyer as well as the current Ad Hoc Committee) and Water Protectors Legal Corrective Executive Director, Natali Segovia, Natali Segovia again made a statement at the presentation of the US report at the UN headquarters, which, in addition to many civil and human rights violations concerning the indigenous peoples of the USA, also briefly mentioned Leonard Peltier, among others. Due to work commitments, M. Koch was unable to attend the sessions on the next two days. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Natali Segovia once again for her spontaneous and successful cooperation on 16.10. in Geneva.
